Order Cancellation, Return and Refund Policy

  1. Build Mantra does not encourage any and all claims for damage, defects, short delivery, of products from you and/or any entity whatsoever at any time. At the time of receipt of the delivery, you should carry out a visual inspection of your ordered products before signing to declare that you have received all the ordered products in good or in any stated condition whatsoever
  2. All policies regarding cancellation of placed orders, return of products, and refund of invoice payments are framed by the respective Manufacturer/Vendor/SP who own the complete and irrevocable rights to the product prior to their sale of the product through Build Mantra
  3. The right to cancel any placed order for any product, refund the amounts already paid by you, allow you to return product that was delivered to you, lies solely with respective Manufacturer/Vendor(s)/SP(s) who own the complete and irrevocable rights to the product prior to their sale of the product through Build Mantra
  4. All claims concerning short delivery of/damaged/defective products either detected on delivery, or at a later date, but not later than 24 Hours from the date and time of delivery, must be notified to the Build Mantra Support Team via the email address: support@buildmantra.com. The subject of the email should have the Build Mantra Order Number and should mention the purpose (Cancellation, Return and any other relevant). The content of the email should contain detailed information on the receipt of the product, identification of the defect or damage and other relevant information.
  5. Build Mantra will need a formal written request (as a matter of record) from you to cancel an order, refund the amounts already paid by you, allow you to return product that was delivered to you
  6. All cancellation requests for products from you will be communicated to the respective Manufacturer/Vendor/SP who owns the complete and irrevocable rights to the product prior to their sale of the product through Build Mantra to you, along with the reasons for the same. In response, only if the respective Manufacturer/Vendor/SP who own the complete and irrevocable rights to the product prior to their sale of the product through Build Mantra, has agreed to cancel the order, receive the product to be returned from you, and process the refund payment for this returned product, will Build Mantra process any cancellation requests from you
  7. If the Manufacturer/Vendor/SP who own the complete and irrevocable rights to the product prior to their sale of the product through Build Mantra has responded to your request for return of the product, allowing you to return the product, then detailed instructions on how to return the product will be communicated to you through your Build Mantra registered account. You will be liable for all expenses and charges (including but not limited to shipping, handling, taxes, surcharges, and service charges) related to the order cancellation, return of the products and refund of any monetary amount related to this cancelation and return
  8. All refund payments as applicable will be processed by Build Mantra, only if they are formally authorized by the respective Manufacturer/Vendor/SP who owns the complete and irrevocable rights to the product prior to their sale of the product through Build Mantra. The right to choose the payment mode for the refund lies with Build Mantra. Payment mode and the estimated time it will take to refund the monetary amounts will be communicated to you prior to processing these payments
  9. You accept and agree that products and services once sold by Build Mantra, cannot be cancelled, returned and corresponding invoice payment refunded, if the respective Manufacturer/Vendor/SP who own the complete and irrevocable rights to the product prior to their sale of the product through Build Mantra to you does not cancel the order, does not allow you to return the product, does not allow for the refund of the payment amount
  10. You accept and agree that products and services once sold by Build Mantra, will not be exchanged with any other product at all times for any reason whatsoever
  11. It is specifically agreed by you that Build Mantra in its efforts to create online shopping convenience and comfort for the building & interior decoration customer, will never be liable to you or to any other party at any time for whatever reason, for any amount more than what you had paid to Build Mantra for purchase of the product/service, by way of any claim in whatever name, be it interest, cost, damages, or any other.

Chargeback Policy

  1. Chargeback happens when a Build Mantra Customer communicates to a Build Mantra authorized payment gateway provider (payment mode), that they had chosen to pay for the ordered product, to reverse a payment transaction that has already been cleared with Build Mantra (after Build Mantra has received the payment duly processed through a payment gateway provider /payment mode from the Customer). The following are scenarios to explain how Build Mantra would respond to the chargeback requests from Customers.
  2. Scenario I: An unauthorized payment was made using the Customer's payment gateway provider/payment mode. As unfortunate as it may be, Build Mantra is not liable for unauthorized payments made using Customer's payment gateway provider/payment mode. Build Mantra would request all Customers to follow safety guidelines in securing their payment gateway provider/payment mode accessibility at all times. In case of any breach in the same, Build Mantra would do all of the following. Build Mantra will humbly suggest its Customers to take it up with their payment gateway provider/payment mode. Build Mantra will provide evidence of the multiple documented communications between the Customer and Build Mantra (through Build Mantra's internal messaging system) regarding the Customer's order placement confirmation, Customer's invoice copy (ies), Customer shipment confirmation, Customer shipment tracking information and Customer shipment receipt information
  3. Scenario II: The Customer didn't receive the product that they paid for - Product/Service delivered at the Customer's shipping location: In case of a situation, wherein Build Mantra has proof of delivery of the product as evident from delivery of the ordered product, tracked through a tracking number provided by Build Mantra/Manufacturer/Vendor/ Logistics Solution provider/Shipment Delivery provider will be available for the Customer to review
  4. Scenario III: The Customer didn't receive the product that they paid for - Product/Service not delivered at the Customer's shipping location: In case of a situation, wherein the Build Mantra/Manufacturer/Vendor/Build Mantra's Shipper/Build Mantra's Logistics Solution provider is/was not able to ship/deliver the Customer ordered product to the Customer desired shipment location, then Build Mantra will communicate with the Customer and accordingly work with the Customer to either fulfill the order to the Customer's satisfaction or process a chargeback to the Customer using the same payment gateway provider/payment mode that the Customer had used while paying for the order (invoice); In which case, a proof of the chargeback as evident from statements at the Build Mantra's financial institution will be used as a supporting document to convince the Customer that their payment for the order that was not fulfilled has been refunded to the Customer account through the same payment gateway provider/payment mode that the Customer had used while paying for the order (invoice). In case of any difficulty in processing a chargeback to the Customer using the same payment gateway provider/payment mode that the Customer had used while paying for the order (invoice), then Build Mantra will contact the Customer and use another convenient payment gateway provider/payment mode to process the chargeback.
  5. Scenario IV: There were errors committed by Build Mantra in processing the Customer's order. In case of a situation where Build Mantra has made errors in processing a Customer order which has resulted in delays or issues with the delivery of the product (as listed in the Customer invoice), then Build Mantra will communicate with the Customer and accordingly work with the Customer to either fulfill the order to the Customer's satisfaction or process a chargeback to the Customer using the same payment gateway provider/payment mode that the Customer had used while paying for the order (invoice).
  6. Scenario V: Product ordered by a Customer through Build Mantra does not match the description found in Build Mantra catalogues or other similar, based on such and similar information the Customer had originally placed an order with Build Mantra. Build Mantra will communicate with the Customer and accordingly work with the Customer to either fulfill the order to the Customer's satisfaction or process a chargeback to the Customer using the same payment gateway provider/payment mode that the Customer had used while paying for the order (invoice)
